Blonde hair, blue eyes, pale and small. She has an innocent almost angelic look to her. Her lack life of experience is written all over her face.

Personality:

Akira tries to be warm and friendly. She wants to be liked. She seeks approval. As a Counsellor she wants to be able to help people, but she also fears her own inadequacy.

History:

Her father was a hero - to the people of Starfleet, to the Federation, to everyone. He was a starship Captain likened to Kirk (although, the records proudly stated, much more responsible). At home, however, he was distant. He was not a family man by anyone's standards.

He had two children. His first-born, a son, committed suicide at the age of 19. His 10-year-old daughter found the body. Although Akira underwent extensive counseling, the scars of the past were never fully erased. She joined Starfleet under pressure from her father and took her time at the Academy as a chance to train as a counselor. Fresh out of the Academy, she set off on the Starfarer to find her future and escape her past.

There are many mysteries in that past which plague her and she one day hopes to solve. Who was her mother? How did she die? Her father would never speak of her. Why had her brother chosen to end his own life? She was too young to understand at the time. Who is she and is she really meant to serve Starfleet? If she does will she ever escape the shadow of her famous father?
